Terms and Conditions.

Version 1.0. Platform usage rules, limitations, prohibitions, and responsibilities.

1. Acceptance

Access to and use of the MyBoletus.com website and application implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Anyone who does not accept these terms is invited not to use the service.

2. Description of the service

MyBoletus.com is a platform that generates predictive maps for mushroom foraging using machine learning algorithms and environmental data analysis (meteorology, soil type, seasonality).

3. Limitation of liability

The predictive maps generated by MyBoletus.com are PURELY INDICATIVE and based on probabilistic models. MyBoletus.com does not guarantee:

  • The actual presence of mushrooms in the indicated locations;
  • The edibility or safety of any mushrooms found;
  • The accuracy of forecasts under extraordinary weather conditions.

4. Prohibition of data scraping and improper use

The following are expressly prohibited:

  • Scraping, harvesting or automated collection of data from the site or app by any method or tool;
  • Reverse engineering of algorithms or APIs;
  • Reselling, sub-licensing or commercially exploiting map data;
  • Using the service for purposes other than personal and non-commercial, without written agreement with MyBoletus.com;
  • Aggregating sighting data to create competing products or services.

5. Intellectual property

All content of the site and app — including algorithms, predictive models, interface design, texts and graphics — is the exclusive property of MyBoletus.com and is protected by copyright and intellectual property law.

6. User account

The user is responsible for keeping their credentials confidential. MyBoletus.com reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts in the event of a breach of these Terms.

7. Changes to the service

MyBoletus.com reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the service at any time, with reasonable notice.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Court of Genova.
